Stone and render material combination

In a quiet, low-rise residential area in the province of Bergamo, a detached villa has been built that closely links the interior and exterior spaces. The single-storey building is arranged into offset blocks and opens up generously towards the garden, with the lighting and connection to nature as focal points.

The detached house was constructed entirely using multi-layered solid timber from the Black Forest region and beech wood screws. Stone and render come together on the facade: stone references the durability and structure of the materials, while render provides modern, smooth surfaces. The interplay creates various lighting effects and emphasises the richness of the facade design.

All told, a building has been realised in accordance with the owner’s wish to live in a healthy and ecologically sustainable environment.
